Madison Bumgarner threw an absolute gem last night, one hitting the Reds. The one hit by the Reds came off the bat of Ryan Hanigan in the sixth inning, a grounder right up the middle. It wasn’t a lot of fun to stay up till midnight watching the Reds fail time and time again at the plate, but I can’t really blame anyone. Dusty put together the best lineup he could and Bumgarner just had his stuff. I’m glad it wasn’t a no-hitter. Cueto looked pretty good too, he went six innings with two earned runs, four walks and three Ks. He also picked off a bunch of Giants.

Tonight, it’s Leake and Matt Cain. Cain pitched a perfect game earlier this month so he can’t do it again … right?
